Last December we were extremely lucky to welcome St. Raymonds Church to the orphanage. It was truly a special event because they have not come to visit in over two years. However, their faith for the orphanage has not dwindled during that time. Every two months Irma would bring down food and monetary donations that they had collected. Needless to say, everyone was very happy to see them! St. Raymonds Church has been visiting and actively helping the orphanage for about the past 30 years. Their dedication and faithfulness are truly incredible feats! They brought many gifts and food to distribute between the orphanage and the surrounding community. In total, there were around 500 people at the orphanage that day awaiting their long anticipated arrival. For the distribution of presents and food, we used the large first floor room of the orphanage. This space came in handy, especially because it was raining. The amount of gifts and food brought down was really amazing, and brought smiles to so many kids. Our deepest gratitude goes to the members of this group and their unconditional love overwhelms the kids on every visit. Thank You!

We owe great thanks to Sacred Heart Church in Coronado, CA. This past December 12th and 13th, they held a bake sale with proceeds benefitting the orphanage. In total, they raised nearly $1800 with their tasty treats! This money will be dedicated to buying food for the orphanage, and will supply us with more than a week's worth of food. This is truly great news! A group from Sacred Heart will also be coming down to visit the orphanage on January 8th. We are so lucky to have great neighbors just across the border. Thank You!
